Last seen on the grid as a team in its own right in 1955, the German manufacturer has been involved in the sport in recent years as an engine supplier as well as partner of the McLaren team. With the likes of Juan Manuel Fangio and Stirling Moss now emulated by Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg, Mercedes returns to F1 as a Champion team thanks to the success of Ross Brawn's Brackley-based outfit last year. |
