Rosberg not distracted by Schumacher attention Публикувана на: Mon, 25 Jan 2010 09:33:00 +0100 Formula 1 news25 January 2010Nico Rosberg has said that he will not be sidetracked from achieving his objectives as 7-time World Champion Michael Schumacher makes his return to Formula 1 this year. The younger of the two, who moves into his fifth season in 2010, is looking to extract the positives from the scintillating situation. With Schumacher making his full-time racing comeback after three years off and Rosberg preparing to compete for a team other than Williams for the first time, the duo make up an all-German line-up as Mercedes-Benz returns as a works team for the first time since 1955.
"I am confident that we will have the same equipment," Rosberg told France's L'Équipe at the weekend. "All the attention will be focused on him (Schumacher) but I have to concentrate on my own work." On top of this, the fact that his team-mate has commandeered car number 3 (originally assigned to Rosberg) is no distraction. |
